BeenThereDoneThat.
There's a lot of Allegheny River friend. Many places you can launch. Tionesta, Oil City, Franklin, Fisherman's Cove, Rockland (private/charge???) Emlenton, etc.

As for a "Bass Boat".... jet recommended in all areas but doable with a prop.😬

Allegheny river needs a flat bottom boat with jet engine very shallow the more north you go. There are spots where it’s deep enough but little stretches is all.

Oil City pool if you wanna not bust up a fiberglass bass boat and lower unit on a prop outboard. Anywhere else, use a jet

I think you could get by in the Tionesta dredge pool as well...but you couldnt wander TOO too far up or down river unless the water is up....WHICH IT IS NOW...

East Brady is good for a prop. Good small mouth fishing  early in the am.   The farther upstream you go the better it gets. Just be careful, upstream from launch you can go maybe a mile and a half.   Just keep your eye on the water, when travelling.  When the water looks like its moving its starting to get shallow.  Its easy to see.  just move with caution until you learn how far up you can go.
