This knot makes it easy to create dropper loops to add multiple hooks or a weight to a rig. I use this often for live or dead bait fishing where I put the weight at the loop. Sometimes I will tie the weight at the end of the line and put multiple loops up the rig to have a multi hook rig.

I also use this occasionally to attach leaders or tippit to my running line. Its not as strong or thin as a blood knot, but it is very quick to tie, and easy also even when your fingers are cold.

A must have knot imo.  Make your own bottom rigs for the ocean with this.  I used it regularly in the lakes also.  Top 5 knot.

I was using snare knots til it dawned upon me, fish don't have, no necks.

Hey McFly...Neat knot. Wonder how it might work for attaching 10-15# test braid line to a piece of 8# flurocarbon ?? Fishing for smallies I often use braided line on spin reel with a 6-8' flurocarbon leader..have tried triple surgeons knot but have had some failures..

Shrod here is a knot that stands up to trolling and glides through rod eyes with ease making it great for casting.  The double uni-knot.
