sounds like the wco had a bug up his arse for him. wco's could have a field day if they checked everybody on the lake.

ahh 25hp. big difference. most tourney guys are running 25 hp and havent heard of anybody getting checked or ticketed. lots of $$$ comes in during tourneys. wco's may be told to look the other way.

No, it sounded like it was something just signed by PAFBC. I misunderstood what you were trying to explain. I will delete my post. Sorry if you were offended.

Oh, forgot to say "Nice Perchbait"

Hummmm..... Can I mount six - 9.9 motors on the back of my boat? That would give me 60 horse, but not over the motor size limit.... LOL.... I think they should raise the limits to 50hp. Plenty fast enough to get to where you want to be on the lake and not enough horse for some jag off to ski past you.

If they would raise it to 50 hp you would see more busted up lower units than you could count. Because that hp would start surpassing the IQ of some of these boat operators.. All it would take is someone to yell "Crappies in the stumps"...

So, as posted by Trout About above, OH has approved 20 hp for pontoons, not other boats????

One other question.  $70 fine was mentioned above.  I was told PA was fining 25hp motors on Lake Arthur $350.  Quite a difference.  Anyone know why?  Possibly the OH fish commision?

If OH passed 20 hp for pontoons, they should just pass a general 20 hp limit and end it.  How about 20hp for 16ft and longer boats?

Enforce the 20hp limit as tightly as they want.  Just don't make PA anglers with motors purchased to fish legally on 20hp lakes to stay off Pymo or buy new motors.  My 7mph speed isn't hurting anyone.
