hey guys I'm taking my brother and boy out tomorrow am for some fishing. How is the overall fishing up there right now. Heard things slowed down but was unsure. If you catching them what colors and presentations is working.

id go to Jamestown cast out into deeper water, if walleyes are what your lookin for.

thanks for the input... we new angler's must have to stick together. I went out of linesville and hooked up with 3 sunfish trolling hot n tot's. Then went to a lake closer to home and got skunked there. Looks like the fishing is starting to cool down with the heat.

 no wind on sat morn to drift so was out on south end with wife trolled crawler harness in 14-18 ft of water .from 6am till 11 3 diffnt colors got fish on them all.8 eyes 10 channel cats bunch of perch and bluegill.good time to be out got to hot around noon.good luck

Fished Pymy July 5th.  A few short eyes, a dozen or so perch, and 7 nice crappies.  we really covered a lot of water for those fish.  A lot slower than it was a month ago - we didn't get started until 8:30 am though.  Perhaps the bite is better early a.m. or late p.m.

Weekend of the 4th I fished out of Linesville, stayed at the campground, had a great time. Only caught one crappie but three keeper walleye trolling Hot N Tots and worm harnesses, best time was early morning before 8:30 am and late after 6pm until dark. Fishing has slowed down since mid May when we caught lots of shorts and several keeper walleyes, crappie and perch, still looking for some slab crappie. Tightlines. Ron
