Fished the river between Belltown and Hallton.. very hot and shady spots were few and far between...

It was a panfish afternoon, only landed sunfish and rock bass, some of the bass were pretty good size like this one =

Hot --- but still better than a day at work = LOL... LOL

Not too hot for the bass though. Caught this monster today between the storms.

WOW == nice fish.. what storms .. we have not had any rain here for weeks... I am finding areas in the pastures (clay soil) that the ground is actually cracked !!!!

Doc doesn't live far from me. The rain managed to deftly avoid us today yet again. Nice bass. Big head on him.

Ya I live in Butler our area got pounded today with very stong storms. We had major highway shutdown due to debris. There was a microburst and trees were snapped all over town.
The humidity was nuts and after the rain the bugs were so active, making the bass more active I caught another one this evening not as nice I dont think but nice.

i fished the casselman river way (which is quite far from the clarion, to say the least, and the water level was far lower than it was about a month ago. the fish were a bit tough to find, but willing to bite.
