The only problem here is the mouse might drown.

Not if you fashion a 1" x 1" piece of balsa wood with a tiny hole drilled in it to pass your line through to provide the mousie a life raft to hold onto - but not big enough to climb onto...

works great at night for Big River Browns...

p.s. - are the PETA folks here serious about their concerns for rodents???

The PETA reps say you must have a little sail and a hammock for the balsa wood float so the little fellow can rest from time to time...WF
