I fished it yesterday with my dad. I was in a red canoe, the old man in a green fishing kayak. We caught a couple bass (one nice 14"). a bluegill, and a few perch. I was surprised how few weeds there were. I expected prominent weedlines in a natural lake. And yes, there are lots of pickerel in the lake. We've caught them as well as some nice bass throwing swimbaits but those were in November and April. Might give you something to try this fall. I'd like to try it in May. Anybody fish it through the ice?
