Time is fast approaching for the George R. Jones Jr. Memorial Walleye Tournament which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1.

This tournament is a two man/person tournament with a 6-fish limit per team.

Boundaries include Glade Bridge in Warren to the Tionesta Bridge.

Hours for fishing are from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Weigh-in will be at the Tidioute Boat Launch from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

All dead fish will be disqualified and all PA Fish Laws must be observed.

Fish will be released at the Tidioute Boat Launch and the tournament committee decisions will be final.

Trophies are being donated by John Motzer, owner of the Landmark Hotel and will be presented following the weigh-in.

The Jones family will donate for a trophy that will be presented to the Junior Champion Angler at the 2012 Pennsylvania State Championship Fishing Tournament.

It's not as easy as slittin' the gills...but it can be done.
Stringer through the bottom of the mouth & slip em back into the river.
