malice i had that same problem when i fished french back in july. i'm thinking i probably just picked the wrong spot to fish, but i only had a few bites and didnt catch any fish.

I don't know about a "wrong spot", everything looks so good out there! I was marking fish on the finder, just didn't have what they wanted I guess. Same thing happened two weeks earlier, 3 of us managed 5 fish between us, all very small bass. I really want to spend more time on the canoe out there, but boy do you have to be careful with the motor.

well, i fished right at the PAFBC canoe launch off of 322 when i went up there. I figured I didn't catch much because it probably saw a good bit of fishing pressure due to the canoe launch. that, and I saw a few other groups of people fishing there. i thought about wading upstream, but it got a little too deep/too muddy to continue wading further up.

Just figured out where 322 is. Now I know where you are tlaking.

I didn't think I would cause so much confusion. The Conneautee dumps into French Creek outside Cambridge Springs. It's the creek that runs out of Edinboro Lake. Flatfish4 is right. I fished there with my Dad and Granddad many, many years ago. I was always told it was a good spot, but never did very well.

rivers coming up again. would like to hit it up more from a boat but just dont put much time in on it. i think thats where youll find the best spots. the bends and holes no one else gets too

I have been looking for years on this forum but never felt the need to respond. I think this might be note worthy due to the the events from this post.

I fished the area that was described by a poster and was cited for treaspassing, it seems there has been issues with the land owner, i guess that area is private property.

Beware, it isnt worth the fine IMO

Where the creek comes in on the left side there is a parking lot so that is OK to fish it is public property. On the other side of the creek there is still room to fish I don't think anyone will say anything.
