Was wondering if anyone could confirm the "normal" water depth directly under I-80 bridge.  From what I can remember from canoeing this section it is about 3 ft deep.

The only thing I rember we were drifting down in the canoe when we want to fish for bass. I through the anchor out the anchor went in the river but I DIDN'T TIE IT DOWN ANCHOR ROPE EVERYTHING WENT INTO THE RIVER LOL

Thanks.   I want to put boat in either at Foxburgh or Emlenton. Just wanted to be sure of depth. The river is very swift right now.  Last time out my trolling motor could not keep up with the current.  After they are done getting Kinzua down to winter pool I'm hoping the river slows down some.

do you have a Jet or just a trolling motor?

Don't have a jet.   I have an older 18' Ranger. Which is why I'm being careful in this section of water.  I'll just have to wait till the water clears up and do some investigating.  I'm hoping to get familiar with that section this fall so next year I can fish it pretty hard.  Normally I fish the Brady pool or millers Eddie pool.   It would probably be smart of me to get rid of this boat and get a jet.  I keep saying I'm going to do it but never do.   Do you fish this part of the river alot?
