Fishing from the North Pier this time of year is quite popular and can be quite enjoyable if you know how to fish the deep waters of the channel. Large rods preferably  10ft+ hefty sinker on the bottom of the line and the 2 foot leaders at 3ft and 5ft, choose your bait but nightcrawlers/shiners are my personal favorite. You can catch panfish down there the size of dinner plate, burbot, bass and sheephead will also bite! Good luck and tight lines!
