Currently at 58 quarts, 12 pints of sauce after last night's canning. I processed another 13 quarts last night that the wife simmered down today and I will can tonight. Picked another 4 colanders tonight along with lots of basil, oregano, peppers and 4 zucchini.
I'm going to officially shut down 1 of my tomato beds this weekend and till it up for fall garlic bed. I always rotate my crops.
We've been hammering the pickled beans and B&b pickles. I have more cukes that I started late that should be ready mid September. Not sure if I plant beans now they will be ready to harvest before frost. Probably hit up my farmer for more beans to can.
Love the garden and hate to see it coming to an end but fall is onto another type of harvest. I'll start hitting the panfish pretty hard soon and prepare for the game of the woods.
So sorry but I just can't get excited anymore about the Ontario tributary fishing.
