Been walking with a cane for around  a year so I dont tip over- still did on occasion even with it.
Now several weeks post surgery am without the cane bout 90%of the time for the past week-no tipping
Just going out the door and carefully down the steps for a walk around the yard is a GREAT thing when ya get it back after loosing it'
At my age ya wonder if this is the new deal after a while
 
 they CAN put humpty dumpty back together again

guess its starting to be drop time- town pool is getting some fishermen again on the river cam

Still amazing I know what to do with some feathers and thread.
In 11 days I'll be staying at tailwater with my wife and sister having hopefully fun stuff happening.
We will all be eating good food, tasting fine wine , dipping in the pool and getting massages. I'm looking forward to someone helping my sore muscles after I get them stretched out from steelhead.
Been a long time since I've wet a line on that river.

I've stayed at tailwater 6 times so far. I was against their building in the beginning but basically it was a stupid protest towards taking away from local lodging.
My visits there have been nothing but top notch and if you plan you time well, it's quite reasonable lodging.

Unfortunately, I took a nasty fall cleaning out my garage. My knee is a balloon and I can only hobble around right now.
Stuff better get right before 11 days. 😣

good luck with the knee Rich hope all is OK for the trip=yea recall Tailwater was controversial when envisioned, kinda recall there was a closed water issue that actually never amounted to all the scarey opinions of the time- lol

First time out doing something in many many weeks besides sitting in a lousy chair- felt GREAT
did some bridge fishing at area streams for stocked trout- still cant do the rough ground walking but was thrilled to wet a line here and there,
About a year ago was contemplating a future of possibly never walking w/o the walker or a cane ( both of which are now in the garage)
now am starting to get around--Doctors can be GREAT

Well after a 5 year hiatus, the curse of SR struck back.
After flowing at 750 for a week, TODAY they decided to jump to 1900 .
That's a LOT of water..
Time to scout the small tribs, yuck
