It's coming , here, and not much stopping things now..MUD season. We hit 50 today ,the puddles are deep and runoff heavy.
I know its wishful thinking but hopefully a slow melt without any rain and I can get 4 more weeks on the ice before the workload begins. She's already saying a poured sidewalk in in order.

Tomatoes are taking a beating from all the different fungi already....  not sure my plants will last the onslaught.....my daconil won't stay on long enough to do any good....

We are very close to our first 24 hour period in 13 days without rain. Mostly heavy.
It's the usual hot and 80% humidity so I'm not thinking it wont stick as more rain predicted foreseeable future.
Our trout and tributaries are over the banks into mild flooding. The mighty muddy Hudson is at capacity.

Pretty much writing my vegetables off this season as their very leafy but few blossoms.
The garlic is drying not to my liking with the humidity even with fans on them.
Pigs are a mess and with first dry spell to enter the pen, their in the freezer at 240-50.

Well we just got 2 inches of rain in about 1/2 hour............

Just got a hurricane emergency on my phone- Here in Ct so near the coast it says we are gonna clobbered.

I stopped my rain dance as we got 3-4 inches two days ago ,now they claim we will get heavy storms tomorrow.Sunday I'm driving to Ohio to visit daughter so I would like clear day for the 6 hr drive.Well at least there is no chance of snow!!!
