Now it will turn green with algea  because of all that untreated water throwing it outa balance and ya will have to shock the dickens out of it, happens every time lol.
My kids and grandkids moved further away and I got older and moved too- no mo pool - wow did I save money and time lol.
Was GREAT for many years though.

I wanted to fill the pool in about 5 years ago when it needed a new liner and nobody but me was doing the maintenance. Wife overruled me saying the grandkids love it and she would help maintain. Well, yes the wife, kids and grandkids are in it everyday but I've still yet to get help with maintenance.
The only time I have problems with water turning green is if I add chlorine the same time I add town water. Our town water is high in iron, magnesium and chlorine.
Rain water has zero effect as long as ph,and chlorine levels are correct.
Last night's rain had no effect and while picture dosen't look it ( sun angel and tree foliage shadow) its crystal clear right now and not a chemical bath.
I'm glad we didn't fill it in and we actually have plans to build a bathhouse attached.

Weather, PERFECT !!

Glad you finally got some rain! And I have enjoyed the bit of break in humidity finally, though still gets to you quick when working outside mid day.

Been raining here for a few hours now.
Certainly more rain than we have had in at least a couple of months combined -which was  less than an inch.
Guess this is the end of the Drought warnings.

Yeah I was up this past weekend checking out the Oswego; not too many fish in the river but, with the rain and cooler temps , shouldn’t be long now !!
