Ok. Told you all I have the worst luck with weather. We stay home working around the house and it's sweltering heat with no rain for weeks.
We go on vacation and its rainy and cool forecast all week.
Yesterday we pulled into camp at 2 pm it starts pouring. Rains hard until 7pm and we get a nice fire going for s'mores. Crashed by 9pm as everyone was tired from driving.
Today it looks clear until late afternoon then rain. Monday- Thursday looks like rain 80%
We'll see how it goes.
I need clams !!

stock up- be prepared for a few days without power- dangerous flooding predicted

Ok sooo- as of now we got about 1/16 inch of rain a bit of stiff breeze and radar shows this is about all she wrote.

Some got a lot more but those things on top were what we were told here.

Woulda liked an inch of rain.

Lost a few big limbs lol- chainsaw for a few days and a number of leafy branch trips to the landfill.

We got tornado warnings but they fizzled. A huge gully washer that turned my pig pen into a swimming pool. My pool gained about 3" water which is good.
Some limbs down on drive home. Looks like the backend of storm is just 50 miles south of us. Moving the canning to indoors tonight.
I'll take the rain because it dosen't look like anything in store for the next 7 days.
Stay safe folks

We got 5-6 inches but very little wind.so all my preparation for power outage issue was not needed. However, all the streams and creeks are flooding more than I've seen here in a long time.Took a ride to see what the Little Lehigh looked like and it was flooding more than I can remember. The local trout nursery on the LL was flooded so it looks like the LL got a stocking of trout.Too bad most of the trout were small.

It seems to have passed with blue skies on the horizon. Still little windy but not terrible.
Just a guess, about 1.5" rain. Creeks are ok just muddy.
Got some vacuum sealing to do and I'm done for tonight on farm aid
