BeenThereDoneThat.
Woke this morning to a pretty heavy frost.   Garage roof was well coated with the frosty stuff  but only splotches could be seen on the ground.  Kind of disappointing for me, I've had my fill of cutting grass for this year.

Checked on the weather and to my surprise no Alberta Clipper out of Canada hurling across the nation and the system responsible for the forecast Nor'easter still bumbling around down south.

Checking again this afternoon and pretty much more of the same.

For a closer look in any part of the nation,  click on any of the images below.

Hopefully the map auto-updates but if not click the most recent link that should take you to the most recent, though non-looping, radar map.

EDIT:   Radar map taken down for sake of space.

😳 SIR.....? Watch your language, there's truck driver's on here. ☺

Speaking of "bumbling around" I'm still learning the cans & can'ts of the map.

At the bottom you'll see separate images of the nation. Top row far right is the NE states. Click or tap the image and once loaded you can enlarge the area if using a touch screen.

It has been raining since around 2pm. Some moderate and some quite heavy showers. Spent the night at a soccer game. Nephew had 4 goals. I got soaked. As I have watched him throughout  this year in highschool I did not realize how good he actually was. Before this year I only went to his club games where EVERYONE was a top notch player. He did very well but did not stand out. In his high school  games he is double and triple teamed and still runs right through them. He actually had a stop and cross over tonight that 2 guys ended up on the ground he fooled them so bad.........

BeenThereDoneThat.
Few light showers remaining in my back yard with a pretty healthy gusty wind hopefully blowing, this system out of the area in the next 12 hours.

Weather dude saying sunny and mid 60s for my area in NW Penna til mid of next week.

Regarding this "Alberta Clipper" I should like to mention...dam I'm glad it didn't bring snow.

Be well everyone, winters coming.

We didn't get blasted with the deluge these so called " forecasters " predicted. No major flooding and I can say, usually in October I DO have standing water in my yard because there is no long hot sun and light winds to dry things out. I call it second mud season where muck boots are standard. At least in my yard living here over 50 years.

I am totally not ready for snow. To many things scattered about to consider plowing yet. Let's just tighten up the ground first, then let me get my hunting season started.
I now have to deploy my 26 foot camper ( long story)to the top of our mountain at hunting camp, then get it back out of there by November 14th. Any snow would mean disaster.

We had 4" of rain from this storm.  Not complaining because we really needed it.
