...Lake Effect Snow Expected Through Wednesday Night...
.Light lake effect snow showers will persist through this
afternoon before transitioning into a heavier lake effect snow
event with the passage of a surface trough tonight into Wednesday.
The snow is expected to diminish sometime on Wednesday night.
Winds will remain gusty across the area this afternoon but will
slightly diminish tonight into Wednesday.
...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST
THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Light snow is expected this
afternoon but will become heavier tonight into Wednesday as the
lake effect snow bands become better organized again.
Additional snow accumulations of 7 to 18 inches >>>------------> CAUSE THIS AIN'T ME!!!! * WHERE...Crawford and Southern Erie counties.
* WHEN...Until 4 AM EST Thursday.
* WINDS...West winds of 15 to 30 mph this afternoon. Winds will
shift around to the northwest tonight and wind gusts to 30 mph
will continue through Wednesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to
impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning
or evening commute.
Recommended actions
A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
