Our forecasters are predicting she'll blow through Rochester on Tuesday.  No Moose River Plains trip this year, even though fishing is good in the rain, setting up and breaking camp and being in the rain for the whole time doesn't cut it.

Friends in Pulaksi say the Jersey plates and PA plates are sprouting like weeds in a bare ground field.  Circus time in the north country!  I'm hoping to get up with my wife to look at the trees week after next, but we'll likely only watch one or two rings around trestle, she has never been comfortable with big fish since she got spooled on the Summerville pier (quite) a few years back!

NWS dude saying "Tropical Storm" Florence will do a U-turn and now be trucking to the NNE.  I for one will not be disappointed if she backtracks out to sea (or ocean)  Better yet, Florence just dissipates into the Abyss.

Thoughts and prayers to those affected by Florence.

Be safe and fish fair.

BTW, about the scientific s'ghetty  storm tracking method mentioned in an earlier thread.  NO kidding, that's what it's called.

The latest Hurricane Florence spaghetti models map on Thursday showed the potential path the storm may take in the coming days. The model showed the storm could veer north after making landfall later this week.
The new spaghetti model showed Florence landing on North and South Carolina before continuing northwest into Tennessee, Virginia and Kentucky before heading into West Virginia. The storm was expected to make landfall in the Carolinas Thursday night or Friday morning. The National Weather Center forecast showed the storm was poised to hit the coast at around 2 a.m.EDT on Friday. ~ BY JULIANA ROSE PIGNATARO ON 9/13/18 AT 9:31 AM

Weather forecast dude telling me to expect Florence between the hours of 11:00AM & 11:00PM. No warnings or watches for my area of the Pennsylvania Wilds but some areas in the central part of the Keystone, may, maybe, might see 2 to 4" an hour.

Be safe all yinz all.

Florence now in the history books, at least, for my area of the Pennsylvania Wilds. Mostly light rain showers through the day with the rain ending and sun popping out just before sunset, lending to some terrific light shows.

Be safe.
