Lake George 3/23

hit LG at first light with a friend
we took the quad out at hearthstone campgrounds and headed out across the lake
there is currently 15" of good ice but the shore is getting iffy for a machine to get on. (ok today but loosing ground)
we had a great day bringing 4 laker's in by jigging Swedish pimples and 2 in using tip ups
loosing another 2 fish as well
problem was none of them made the 23" mark - close but not quite enough
i think that was my final time walking on the water for 007 unless December brings a big freeze
for those who still are not ready to hang it up, the ice should be good for another few weeks, but getting off the shore will deteriorate.
