Which wildview camera do you have dpms?

A cheap one.  I think it is thier 4 megapixel model.  Seems to work fine for what I need.

fellas

You're likely seeing results of bucks in bachelor groups.  I was getting all doe in June, now I've gotten about 12 bucks in the last few weeks.  I can't even remember the last doe I got on cam.  I had 6 buck jump in front of me the other day.  My sightings and pictures have bucks outnumbering 8:1.   I can tell you with certainty, that's not the buck:doe ratio here.   It's more around 1:3.   Bucks just seem to walk circles in August, getting familiar with the others in the area, with other bucks joining the crowd as it passes.  For buck sighting now, it's usually lots nor none (unless he's the big loner).  If you've truely got more buck than doe, you'll probably be seeing lots of broken racks this fall.

Does any one have any pics from Erie, Crawford county area?
Would like to know if there is anything good running there. I would do my own scoutting
but I'm still over seas.

I was unaware that baiting/salt licks are legal there.  Are they legal during season, and if not, how do you " turn it off "?

Clamshell,  unless this rule has changed to some extent, salt licks, bait stations etc. are legal aslong as they are removed 30 days before the start of any season.  30 days before archery season, 30 days before turkey season etc. etc.  They are illegal to hunt over. We use mineral licks and some salt licks during the winter months after deer season has finished in January.

Yes they are illegal to hunt over, we have not added any salt since late july.  They are gone by october. But this doesn't matter much because by then up there these deer are out of thier summer pattern and we don't hunt these same areas.

SK you should see what these deer would look like if they had been 6 and 8 pts that survived thier first season.   I have plenty of spike, 3 & 4 pt pics, this thread is for the monsters.

These are some great pics. I was talking to my buddy last night and he set one up behind his house by the corn feeders. The first night he ended up with a a camera full of pics of a gang of coons lol. He did however get pics of some nice looking deer. Three different bucks and a huge doe. So when he is in the mountains chasing deer I'll be behind Hoop's house killing deer.

Some of the stuff from last weeks soak.
Disregard the date on the wildview cam, dad doesn't always remember to set the date (or how to!!  lol)

And just exactly where did you say you live and hunt? GPS coordinates would be helpful as well. I won't tell anybody.
