I think they can play a huge roll in bagging a mature buck.
You can't kill them if you don't know where they live..
It has become kind of a hobby with me. I run 3 cameras all year and enjoy seeing all the different photos of wildlife.

You guys should go to the huntingpa.com forum.  They have a heading devoted entirely to trail cams and outdoor photos.  Multiple forums..........does this mean I'm unfaithful?

I look at trail camin' more as a hobby.  Most of the deer I hunt can be viewed after dark with a spotlight, without infringing on their areas.    But I don't know for sure which way they come from, but knowing the area and history, I can make educated guesses.  Sometimes it takes all season to find a really big one.  There are some areas I have to use cams to see what is there.   It's no concidence these areas generally hold the oldest deer.  I put the cams up in the rain and take them out in the rain, especially in prime areas.  Just put up four yesterday.  It was pouring.  No scent and not a sound.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

Where's all the mountain lion pics? lol

All kidding aside, good pics guys. My trail cameras aren't digital, so i'll have to try and scan my pics to put them on.....I got one the other day of a ground hog standing on its hind legs, and a turkey staring at each other face to face. It looked like they were having a staring contest, because I got 3 pics in a row were the same.

I have a Moultrie and i have nothing but trouble with it, i've only got 1 deer pic for the past 3 years i've had it, it seems like it takes it late or doesn't take any pics at all, hell i walk in front of it and it won't even take a pic of me.

Nice pictures, my camera has been acting up this year and I have missed seeing bucks so far this year.  On the road for work now but Wednesday the camera goes back out.  Season is only around the corner now, love bow season.  Good luck to all.

I enjoy getting and seeing game camera pics as much as hunting them any more.

Wish they were in a fence.  lol.  They are in the mountains and have a lot of room to spread, once they do......the other problem is that we are getting very few pics of does (maybe 1 for every 5 different bucks).

That is a good problem to have. I'm in Washington County also, have seen 10-1 doe to buck ratio so far. That is just from traveling on the local 2 laners, haven't started scouting yet. Nice pics Musky.

Any problems posting pics Chicken, there are a lot of people on here that are glad to help, just ask.
