A fishing buddy, probably better at catching trout than me.  Another fisher man told us we should shoot him!

Nice pics. What part of the tully were you fising? Upper or below the lake? I got out the other day below the red bridge and dunked a few worms. Caught 2 then off to the DHALO and managed one more. All pretty nice size. Largest this year was 15.5.

I got out yesterday for about 1.5 hrs only managed 3. Was below the red bridge and dunking some worms. One fish took about 4 or 5 worms before i finally hooked him. It took me switching to a smaller san juan worm under a float to do so but i sure got him. Well i mean he did  get released so i guess he got me... I have yet to catch anything under 12-14 inches yet this year. Looks like the caddis are starting to come off.  I started to see a few risers yesterday. hope its continues to get better in the near future. I get to fish my Favorite stream this weekend. THE YOUGH..... Hope to tie into a few biguns they put in this year.

Well got out the other day for a few hours after work. Was greeted with nice surprise. Caught a 16 in or so TIGER trout. It took me up and down that stream. It took a night crawler on the end of my drift. Fought like heck. The colors on that thing were amazing. You would be glad to know it was released for someone else to catch. I know it wont be long till he will be on someones gril.

You guys should be ashamed of posting pics of those small rainbows. Maybe I'll post a true Tully fish. Chic you look like you should be on the cover of flyfisherman Magazine.

Chrome maybe look a little harder at tippy's fish.  And, am I not photogenic enough to be on the cover of a flyfishing magazine? I think I have that, very cool, handsome Adonis like outdoors man.

    Lou,

I would agree with you.  Tippy's look (with the brown) is over-blown.  He has all the gear but the whole thing has the making of a man trying to look a look that he can't otherwise achieve with just his raw talent... Mr. Fishpond/Loomis extraordinare....
