Fished it again today 5-6-08.  Nothing like yesterday...  The drifts were not as good becase of the lack of wind.  We were jigging minnows in the stumps.. Tried trolling hot n tots and worm harnesses..  We ended up with one eye and 5 crappie all day...  And they were nothing to brag about..

Fished the open last weekend and finished third out of 20 teams. Hope to do better next time.

Just got back off the lake and was skunked again :( 3 of us x 2 poles each = NO FISH caught! I have not seen so much seaweed this early in a very long time.

Try trolling stinger spoons on a #0 dipsy back 30 in 18ft water. I got 20 eyes today with that program. Only problem..... none bigger than 13"s. I'm using 14lb test fireline.

Saw the ecoli warning over there today, not good.

Better too far back, than too far forward.

MM, never mind. I saw a report on the news about it. It stated that the ecoli report was wrong but there is still a slight problem with sewage when they get a big rain and septic tanks in the area over flow. Said they have about 40% of the problem under control and should have it all covered by this fall. Said it's been happening for years but they still use the lake as a water supply.  They must have a good treatment plant, huh?
