I have bought bait all over and have never really had a problem with Bac. I liked Joe H. he was allways sort of on the gruff side but gave you a good count and allways remembered you.I miss Joe H. As for Andy, great guy ,but I get a stingy count on my bait every time they tell me to scoop out my own. I just feel like I am stealing when dishing out my own. I have never shirked a job, but I think I'll refuse that job from now on. Even my son  was complaining about how stingy I am.

NO, I have not either.  Thats why, for single eggs, I go to Poor Richards.  Their's are the best.  However, I rarely use single eggs and what is really in question here is the amount of minnows you get at BAC.  I don't frequent BAC above Presque Isle much, but do go to the one on Rt. 5 and have had good experiences there.....more than enough minnows and great service from the guys who work there.  And it is quick and convenient for where I fish.  I also like Elk Creek Sports Shop.  So bottom line seems to be, go where you feel most comfortable and have had the best service to meet your needs.

I stay between fairview and girard when I am up and launch at the nut.  So I use BAC and PR.  I have to say that I always thought I got an excellent count at both places and sometimes in the summer I wish I had a few less emeralds suckin all the oxygen out of the bucket before I get the aerator  and ice on them........Its just funny, I have never had a bad count at either place, must be lucky.

Better too far back, than too far forward.

I stopped down there at East Ave just to make sure they're still going. And yes they are and all set up to have a good year.
