susquehanna cats

the cat action down here is starting to get very good
the river is alittle high but just about at the perfect level for cats below harrisburg
mainly catching flat heads on worms or crayfish right now
the channel cat action has dropped dramaticlly in the last couple years since we started seeing the flat heads.......good news on them though is that they are getting to be over 2 feet for an average, and that is fun :)

When did flatheads start on the scene ? I fished from 3 mile is. to Columbia for years & only got channels.

i've been catching them at the south end of TMI for three years now
they are growing fast and i think they may be eating all the small channel cats, because i haven't caught a small channel in two years now

cat action is still hot down here
getting both flat heads and channels....and the occasional walleye, muskie, smallmouth, havn't hooked a carp yet this year?
    weird
crayfish are still the hot bait, but cut baits and worms are working well too...even the left over shrimp from dinner the other night

hey Bigbear, try live lining some live Bluegill 6 inches or bigger, if there are large Flatheads around this will catch them...
