Anchor Rode

Anyone know of a cheap place to get Anchor Rode in the Erie area?  I'm trying to keep as many purchases local as I can.  I've found 200' of 1/2 twisted nylon with an anchor thimble from Bass Pro Shops for 79.99.   Like I said I'd really rather keep this money in out local economy if possible.

Thanks in advance,

Don

dont know what they charge for anchor line/anchor, etc... but imo Ship Shape Marine in Erie has the best customer service and prices youll find. bought a new 5 gallon remote tank and fuel line from gander. stopped to get gas and the line/connector leaked. stopped at Ship Shape on the way to walnut and got a new line/connector. the line/connectors/tank were all cheaper than gander. very nice people.

If you have a tractor supply around they have great prices on rope also.

Don't forget to use a chain before the anchor-makes a big differance.
Even a 2-4 foot chain will help set the anchor.

    Thanks Guys,

I went to ship shape marine (since I can see the building out of my office window!!).  Great guys, very helpful.  Getting pumped to get the new boat in the water.

I have done most of my business in erie with ship shape (just because they were the first ones I found up there) and those dudes have gone out of thier way more than once to be cool and help with some things that I am sure were a pain in the you know what for them.

    I'll second or 3rd shipshape.w_w.

If it has fins and gills, I'm there.
