I would love to see someone run that thing up the Manchester hole next fall when the run is on....  That would be something to see.

We caught a 10 in large mouth bass on it at a local pond. The bass ended up pulling it nearly under lol. They are funny to see especially when its strictly blue gill.

I saw that thing in walmart earlier today.  Looks like about the stupidest way to waste 50 bucks on fishing supplies, though if I knew someone that had one I would probably want to borrow it just to play around!

Bet it'd be hilarious to see a big fish sink the thing!!!

Just another piece of junk to seperate the fool and his money. At best I might call it a toy to play with. $60 plus sales tax and they pay the shipping!

There is a heavy duty version (not from this company), that a guide service uses for stripers in Tenessee or somewhere like that.  I saw it on Youtube, but can't find the link.  They'd swim a 10" shad behind their remote control boat (3'+ long with 2' beam).  They'd attach the bait to a release clip on the remote controlled boat and a rod on their main boat.  Drive the remote control boat up to the spillway of the dam they were fishing, and destroy some cow stripers.  I had thought about trying this in the rivers, but would imagine the USACE might think it was some type of terroristic device.  (oh yeah, and didn't have the $100+ for a boat that would work for this...)

This one here looks like a waste of money though.  Adding a release clip to it, might work for larger fish on this, but still not practical.  I'd imagine it can't go very far before running out of the controller's range or controllable sight.

As I recall, these were "used" and then deemed illegal in PA waters.  The story I remember related to the spillway at Raystown Dam in Huntingdon county.  The spillway approach is over a hundered yards in length and a bit wider than a football field.  At times it is/was loaded with stripers.  The anglers anchored, legally, on the lake side of the restricted area buoys and drove the RC boats inside of the no access water.  That did not go on for many weekends before there was an end put to the practice by the "LAW"

This story goes way back and I heard it second hand so it may not be totally accurate.  I could imagine that it went down as reported though.

Ya i have something like this that I made, if you really wanna go about it the right way you will have to get a nice v hull rc boat about 40 inches or more with a brushless motor or else youll never pull a fish. Honestly its way too loud anyway and scares fish. I guess someone with lots of spare time could build a small gear reducted wench to wind up line according to depth :/  lol
