Carp Fish-ins

Anyone else ever go to CAG (Carp Anglers Group) Fish-ins before besides pacarper and myself?

Yep, the PA paylakes down in SW PA have been having carp contests for at least the last 50 years.
See this thread here for another: http://forums.fishusa.com/Mr%25_Whiskers_Carp_%26_Catfish_Derby_Returns/m_5784/tm.htm

The CAG fish-ins are basically public get-togethers where anyone can attend and just fish for carp.  We've been doing these for the last 11 years here in W. PA.  We usually do have an optional big fish money pot on the side at these events if there is enough interest, but since the CAG is a not-for profit group, we have to be careful about how we go about the tourney side of things tho. Official CAG tourneys have only tackle prizes.
I've posted info. on these local CAG events the last few here back on the old discussion board forum.  We've had the last 5 NW PA carp events at Lake Wilhelm and the last 2 SW PA event at Shawnee Lake.  We're working on this years events now and we have an event scheduled for May 12-13 at Seghi's Paylake down in Smithfield, PA.  I will post more details on this event here eventually or go here for more details: http://www.carpanglersgroup.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21139&pid=296536&st=45&#entry296536
