NASCAR Picks of the Week - 2024 - Martinsville

Gentlemen,

This week is the last qualifying race before the championship.  Two drivers are "in" with two spots to fill.
Martinsville is a tough track, on cars, tires and drivers.  Lots of cars won't finish.
Make your picks carefully and look at past races.

Here's your Top Eight:

1.  Tyler Reddick  $                           5.  Kyle Larson  -7
2.  Joey Logano  $                            6.  Denny Hamlin  -18
3.  Christopher Bell  +29                   7.  Ryan Blaney  -38
4.  William Byron   +7                       8.  Chase Elliott  - 43

      Here's My Picks:

           Winner:  Denny Hamlin
                 Long Shot:  Kyle Busch
                        1st Out:  Josh Bilicki

Good Luck                               And Thank You for Playing.

Good race but I believe Bubba helped along with 1,3. A little blocking, cheating.

I agree, not a bad race at all.
I would like to see a change in how the point system works. The way it has been for the last few seasons, well, your just asking for trouble. And it really showed up Sunday. Lotsa guilty parties all around, not just Bell. And that's partly why there's a lot of empty seats.

    Gentlemen,

Well, that was interesting.  Let me just see if I got it right.  If you push somebody to help them win , , , that's OK.  And if you block a faster car, 1-1, That's OK.  BUT if you block with a friend, to help a teammate advance, or let a faster car get by, then it's a rules infraction? I think the FIX was in.
We had two people pick the actual winner of the race.  They were: Wood Nickle, and Bloody Hand.  They both picked Ryan Blaney.
We had one person pick the best "Finishing"  Long Shot.  That was Hendey Lathe, picking:  Ross Chastain ( even though he was out pointed by people who finished behind him )
And we allllll picked Josh Bilicki to finish last,,,, and he did.
So Congratulations go out to this Weeks Best Picker, and NASCAR God of the Week:  Bloody Hand with a great score of 85 points.
          Congratulations!

          Here's How We Scored:

    1.  Bloody Hand *******************************  85
    2.  Wood Nickle *******************************  84
    3.  Dano *******************************  74
    4.  Bigfoot **********************  58
    5.  Fishin' Coyote ****************  57 t/b
    6.  Hendey Lathe ****************  57
    7.  Indsguiz **************  48

Congratulations to Bloody Hand    And Thank You for playing
