NASCAR Picks of the Week - 2024 - Michigan

Gentlemen,
 
     This week NASCAR takes a trip to Brooklyn Michigan for the Firekeepers 400.
     Michigan!  Very fast.  Pack racing.  Austin Dillion will not  get any help.  Fuel Management will be vital.
      Here's some scenarios that bear watching:  Martin Truex needs to finish in the Top 20.  Ty Gibbs needs to basically "hold Serve" and get a good finish.  Bubba Wallace needs a Top Ten, and finish ahead of Buescher and Chastain.  Buescher, and Chastain need a really good finish and be in front of Wallace.

2.  Tyler Reddick                                      8.  Martin Truex, Jr.  13th in playoff
3.  Chase Elliott                                       9.  Brad Keselowski
4.  Denny Hamlin                                    10.  Alex Bowman
5.  Ryan Blaney                                       11.  Ty Gibbs  14th in playoff
6.  Christopher Bell                                  12.  Bubba Wallace  15th in playoff

    Gentlemen,
         Well, that was an odd race.  And a bad one scoring wise.
         We had two people come closest to picking the winner.  They were: Bigfoot and Bloody Hand; both picking :  Denny Hamlin  (9th)
         We had one person pick the actual best Long Shot.  That was Me , picking: Kyle Busch.  (4th).
         And we had one person come closest to picking the actual 1st Out,  That was Bigfoot, picking: Corey LaJoie.
         And Congratulations go out to this weeks Best Picker, and NASCAR God of the Week, Bloody Hand with a score of 47.  Congratulations 
         I think that is the lowest winning score all year.  But! A Win is a WIN.
