NASCAR Picks of the Week - 2022 - Texas

Gentlemen,
This week the NASCAR Series starts the 2d round of the Playoffs.  And we are down to 12 rivers.
Normally, Texas would be "Just another Mile-and-a-half Track.  But the implications of this race go much deeper.
Texas is a normal race, followed by a Superspeedway (Talladega) and then a Road Course (the Charlotte Road Course).  And since, literally, anybody could win at the next two, or lose badly,  Texas takes on a new level of seriousness.
Texas is 500 miles and will be a real test.  And if a Non-chaser wins, it will throw the chase into a shambles.

     Here's Your Top 12:

1.  Chase Elliott                                                              2.  Joey Logano
3.  Ross Chastain                                                            4.  Kyle Larson
5.  William Byron                                                            6.  Denny Hamlin
7.  Christopher Bell                                                         8.  Ryan Blaney
9.  Chase Briscoe*                                                          10.  Alex Bowman*
11.  Daniel Suarez*                                                        12.  Austin Cindrick*

Drivers with a * are currently below the "cut line" for the next round, and need great results/

     Here's My Picks:

          Winner:  Daniel Suarez
               Long Shot:  Kyle Busch
                     1st Out:  Justin Haley

Good Luck!    And Thank You for Playing.

    Gentlemen,
I just have to say that I did NOT like that race.  Too many tire failures.  Too many good cars going out for tire failure.
Personally, I had an odd day.  My 1st Out finished 4th, and my long shot was the 1st Out. So I'm lucky I'm not in the minus zone.
We had One person come closest to picking the winner.  That was Hendey Lathe, Picking:  Joey Logano.
We had 4 people pick the Best Long Shot (who actually won).  They were: Bloody Hand, Wood Nickle, Fishin' Coyote, and Dano.
         They all picked:  Tyler Reddick.
And we had 2 people pick the Closest 1st Out.  They were: Bloody Hand and Hendey Lathe, picking:  Cody Ware.
Side note:  Ware was examined and released from the hospital last night, he is OK)
And congratulations go out to this weeks' Best Picker, and NASCAR God of the Week: Bloody Hand!
With a great score of 79 points!  Congratulations!

    HERE'S HOW WE SCORED:

    1.  Bloody Hand *****************************************************  79
    2.  Dano *******************************************************  72
    3.  Hendey Lathe *********************************************  67
    4.  Wood Nickle *********************************************  65
    5.  Fishin' Coyote ******************************  34
    6.  Bigfoot *********************************  32
    7.  Timachro *******************  17
    8.  Indsguiz *******  5

Congratulations, again, to Bloody Hand.  Thank You for Playing
