Crowded Ramps

Twice I have driven from Pittsburgh to fish the bay and each time, even arriving early, the ramp by the water place (boat rental) was jammed.  It has been a few months since then and I was wondering if that ramp and Niagara are still crowded during the week.  Any info can save me a long drive and gas at these prices.  Thank you

Why not put in at Lampe marina? Plenty of parking and a short trip through the channel.

Bay ramps are seldom busy during the dog days. Crowds depart with the smallies.
