Done with the 8wt

My 8wt has no backbone to when it comes to setting the hook in those big toothy fish. I think it’s slow action. Works great for trout, bass, and carp. Since everything is expensive when it comes to musky fishing, so it looks like I’m going to be building a rod myself. Any input or suggestions.
