NASCAR Picks of the Week - 2021 - Dover

Gentlemen,
Sorry for the late posting.  Things have been very busy here.  But here it goes  This week the racers move to Dover for the concrete mile.  This track is VERY abrasive to tires and it will be a tire race.  Plus it's an odd distance and that will make fuel management a consideration.
Martin Truex has shown his stuff, but it's time for Harvick, Hamlin, and Elliott to step up.  This could be a pivotal week for these teams.

Here's Your Top Twelve:

1.  Denny Hamlin                                                                  7.  Kevin Harvick
2.  Martin Truex, Jr $$$                                                         8.  Chase Elliott
3.  William Byron $                                                               9.  Brad Keselowski $
4.  Joey Logano $                                                                10.  Kyle Busch $
5.  Ryan Blaney $                                                                11.  Christopher Bell $
6.  Kyle Larson $                                                                 12.  Austin Dillion

     And Here's My Picks:
               Winner:  Brad Keselowski
                      Long Shot:  Matt Dibenedetto
                              1st Out: Quinn Houff

Good Luck!  And Have fun!  And thank you for playing.

    Gentlemen,
Well, the "Concrete Jungle" was good to some of us, and for others (me) it wasn't very nice.
We had one person come closest to picking the winner. That was Hendey Lathe, picking Kyle Larson.
We had 5 people pick the best Long Shot.  They were: Porktown, Bigfoot, Bloody Hand, Wood Nickle and Dano.  All picking: Alex Bowman (who is now a 2 time winner)
And we had one person come closest to picking the best 1st Out.  That was Porktown picking BJ Mcleod.
And this weeks' Best Picker, and NASCAR God of the Week, in a tie breaker, is:  Wood Nickle with an amazing 93 points!  101 before 1st Out deduction!  Congratultions!
And  also a fine 2d place for Bigfoot with 93 also.

    Here's How We Scored:

    1.  Wood Nickle **********************************************  93 t/b
    2.  Bigfoot **************************************************  93
    3.  Hendey Lahe **************************************  79
    4.  Porktown **************************************  67
    5.  Dano ****************************************  66
    6.  Timachro ************************************  65
    7.  Bloody Hand ********************************  62
    8.  Fishin' Coyote **************************  56
    9.  Indsguiz ****************  30

Again, congratulations to Wood Nickle, and Bigfoot.   Thank You for playing
I think I'm in last place.

Well, one thing about being in last place is the only way to go from there is up!
