Headless Turkey

Found a dead turkey with its head and neck missing.  What could have gotten it?  I talked to a trapper and he said it was probably an owl.   Any one else have any thoughts on this?

The only thing better than 1 day of fishing is 2 days of fishing.

    Owls eat the heads off of most of their kills-  mice to larger things- heard they like the brains.
