Erie Dearie/Weight Foward

Just wanted to get an idea of everybody's preference with Erie Dearies and other weight forward spinners. Looking to get out in the nearshore areas with my boat and do cast/drift fishing for Walleyes, before they get out too deep and too far for my 16 footer. Leaning towards getting mostly 3/8 oz, but haven't ruled out the 5/8 oz? Thoughts

Go heavy man 5/8 3/4 and 1oz...fish are in shallow but its a mixed bag some schools of eyes out deeper that's from my limited experience out of yak this week good marks every time out at 35-40 fow scattered marks in shallow and a lot of cats around.
    Good Luck ...WCW
