NASCAR Picks of the Week - Texas AAA Texas 500.

Gentlemen.
This week the monsters move to Texas for the AAA Texas 500.Afyer last week at MArtinsville I wonder if the drivers will race for points or race for revenge.  We have Logano vs Hamlin, Byron vs Almirola and Kyle Busch vs just about everybody.
The only person IN for the championship is Martin Truex, Jr.  The rest are fighting for the Top 4.  Here are your Top eight and what they need to do.

  1.  Martin Truex, Jr - He is going to Miami since he won at Martinsville,  However, if he wins again that means points are doubly important.
  2.  Denny Hamlin -  Basically just needs to finish ahead of places 5 thru 8
  3.  Kyle Busch -  Needs a good run and to get more points than 4 thru 8.
  4.  Joey Logano -  Needs to get more points and a better finish the 5 thru 8  and a finish ahead of 2 & 3.
  5.  Kevin Harvick - Needs points and a better finish than 4, or finish ahead of 2-3-4
  6.  Ryan Blaney -  Basically needs to finish 3d and score points.
  7.  Kyle Larson -  Needs to finish better than the six drivers ahead of him.
  8.  Chase Elliott -  Needs to finish better than 6 drivers, and have one or two of the 2,3,4 cars have a bad day.  Basically, needs to win.

       Here's My Picks:
               Winner:  Kevin Harvick -  It's a mile and 1/2.
                         Long Shot:  "Bad" Brad Keselowski
                                  Ist Out:  Reed Sorenson

Good Luck, and Thank You for playing.

    Gentlemen,
I have to throw this out there.  With two Nemecheks in the race (Joe, and John Hunter) might we see some team action this week?  It's been proven that almost everywhere two cars are faster than one and father-son duos have worked together for wins before.
       Just think about it.

    Gentlemen,
Well, I completely missed that race!  But from the looks of the scores some others did too.  We had three people pick the actual winner of the race.  They were Wood Nickle, Timachro, and me.  We all picked Kevin Harvick.  We had two people score highest on their Long Shot picks,  They were:  Heldey Lathe and Dano both picking Kurt Busch,  And we had most of us pick Timmy Hill as their 1st Out.  They were: Bigfoot, Wood Nickle, Hendey Lathe, Dano and Bloody hand.
And Congratulations go out to this weeks best picker, and NASCAR God of the Week:  Wood Nickle with a fantastic 87 points Congratulations!.
         Here's how We Scored:

    1.  Wood Nickle **************************************  87
    2.  Dano ****************************************  66
    3.  Timachro ***********************************  62
    4.  Indsguiz ********************************  46
    5.  Bigfoot ********************************  45
    6.  Hendey Lathe  **********************  37
    7.  Fishin' Coyote *********************  33
    8.  Bloody Hand ********************  28

Again Big congratulations to Wood Nickle,  And Thank You for playing.
