Great catch Bighead!

Had the pleasure of fishing with Spoon on his boat one night for wipers at Arthur. I sent him some PM’s asking about how to get into fishing for em, and next thing I know I’m getting a crash course from a Lake Arthur legend! He was a bit crusty and grumpy on the outside, but man did that guy have a heart of gold and an endless supply of generosity.

Yep Spoon had a good heart.I wish I could have got 1 more fishing session with him. My last convo with him was him begging me to quit smoking. He was on his death bed and worried about me!It's been almost 2 years since I quit.

Awesome catch!

Spoony did indeed have a big heart. When I first met him I could tell he hated me for my sarcastic posts here. After working together, we got along great. Super guy he was. And very intelligent.
