WARNING

Seems like the warmer weather has gotten the scumbags out lately braking in-to cars at our county & state parks. Women especially must learn to put their purses in the trunk or at least covered up when you go walking or take your purse with you. I was at twin lakes yesterday & was talking to a cop when they nabbed a thief red-handed.  sam

Guessing you didn't call 911 and report it for the police to go arrest them..

I came home late from fishing one night and had my car broken into and had left my phone.  The idiot called himself, so I had him red handed.  The cops figured out who it was and never even arrested him.  There were break ins in every neighborhood for months and they stopped when they caught him, so it wasn't like this was a one time thing.  He drove 20 miles to hit our neighborhood and several other cars were hit that night.

I've seen the occassional weirdo late nights at Arthur. I tend to utilize the less used launches and am frequently the last boat in during early and late season. Fortunately people don't seem to peg me as an easy target. Of course that doesnt stop breakins when I'm on the water.

Remember CCW is legal in state parks with a valid license!
