Leaving Wednesday morning for our 12th year Erie trip. Anybody have any information they are willing to share? Smallies in bay spawning? Current Water temps? Weather ?

Went up this past weekend, very slow, caught a few off the stacks, not much happening in the bay yet.

Fished the streams this past Sunday and was pretty poor. Lots of gar spawning and half of the bass on beds already and other half mostly lock jaw. Managed about 10 bass. Was up two weeks ago and didn’t have much better luck. Thinking the weather screwed up the spawning.

The last update from the PI Bay buoy showed the water temp to be around 55 degrees. Smallmouth are hitting in the bay and the bite should hit its peak in the next week or so. Good luck! Make sure to stop into the FishUSA Pro-Shop at 6960 West Ridge Road, Fairview PA 16415 for anything you might need! The guys up there will be more than happy to help.
