Need info on Cattaraugus Creek

I live about 6-7 hours away and need some help/info on how iced up the stream is(holes iced over but runs open, all of it iced over, holes semi open, etc). We usually fish the upper part where the water is swifter but i didn't know as to how much ice there would be in the stream with the cold temps.

    I wont get a chance to see it till tomarrow evening, but expect typical winter conditions if you come.  We had a bitter cold snap after the last melt down last week, and it has been in the single digits at night and teens/20s during the day all week in the area.

    The fast areas will have shelf ice on them, the holes will have even more shelf ice on them or completely froze over.  The Catt isn't a real good winter destination, most of the time if it isn't froze up then it is muddy.

    Thanks for the info. I noticed the weather should break by next weekend(by break i mean daytime temps above freezing). We fish all the time and have caught more than our fair share of fish but we've been lucky enough to catch the streams relatively clear everytime we've went. How is the fishing if the stream is muddy? Is it impossible or just more difficult? Any suggestions for a second stream the be considering?
