''Restoration '' has started

They have started laying the rocks for a few of the current break/channel breaks for the river. Right now Altman is pretty messy by the bridge. No camera so no pics as of now.
Page 40 or so is what is going on now, better get their butts in gear before silly season

    Can't wait to see the improvements. Should be a much better fishery to the fishers of migratory fish 😉

    You would think they would do this "work" in the beginning of summer.Are you going to take some pictures Clint?

    There are sections of the river that would benefit from improvement.  It's long river and likely a multi year project.

    From what is shown on those pictures it looks like they better get moving or there will be a lot of angry anglers on the SR come Sept.,including me!I hardly recognize that as the same stretch.

    If that's all they did above the boat ramp I don't see much of an improvement for the fish.  Even with the water level up they tend to hug the north side so the work they did won't improve the stream bed unless they plan to dig out a channel on the south side.
