Haven't tried their fluoro, but F&S braid and mono were absolute junk.  Hope their fluoro works better for you than their braid and mono did for me.

Funny thing is, I'm not picky about my line.  I'm cheap so I'll usually buy what's on sale or use gift cards.  After two weeks of the F&S braid, I took it off and replaced it with good old Power Pro.  The mono lasted a little bit longer.

I hear ya Dave.  I never gave braid a chance except this past year on my tip-ups where I found the stuff freezes solid, into a glob of string, when exposed to water and 0 C temps.

I hear ya on the "cheap" too, heck that's my middle name when it comes to buying fishing line... 'BTDT El'Cheapo' is what they call me, when they ain't mad at me!!

Hope all is going well and I am looking forward to seeing more of those grand pictures from 'rsquared outdoors' real soon.

I'll only use seguar for flourocarbon. And yes. Braid is horrible below freezing.

agree only time I go cheap is trolling for trout in the river . I don't care what you use it get beat to hell and back I'm 1/2 spooling once or twice a month .  using hybrid yo zuri now 13 bucks for 600 yards . I actually used 15 pound test for salmon and never broke a line bent a lot of cheap Rapela and storm hook but that's another thread .

Used it years ago. Was my go to line for a few years. Including my first few years fishing steelhead in Erie. I liked it at the time.

I ~REALLY~ like the Suffix Siege mono.  I use the 6lb camo on my 1000 series reels and I can reel in a tree off the bottom before it breaks.  Caught a giant cat on my ultralight running the 4lb, but I wouldn't recommend it.  So small my old eyes can't make knots with it on the boat.  The 6 is perfect for my panfishing and the 10 or 12 on a cat reel will land moby's****

Also I'm boycotting Dicks / FS because they are ****-y headline grabbers whenever any gun issue comes up but quick to sell as many garbage-master 223s they can when nobody is looking.  F them, I'll give their business to FishUSA or Amazon.

Hope p-line made improvements in the last couple of years since i used it . It went from great line to total junk thinking 3 years ago would never use it again . Now I could of got couple bad spools or old spool don't know . didn't they outsource the floro ?

Triline XT low vis green, I buy bigger spools and change up often. Fresh spooled line through out the seasons is a must ! Why waste money on expensive line when using 6lb. or less for fish that are mostly under 10lb.? Breakoffs are very rare , and after awhile most lines (even the expensive ones ) hold memory from stretch and heat..... and that has to go !  With lesser priced spools of line that,s an easy fix.....just spool up the reel again and off you go.

    Fish smarter not harder !....lol

I just pull all the line from my spool, across the back yard, retie the lead end first and re-spool.  Recycling,  or the cheapest guy on the block, you be the judge.   Hey did yinz know making a couple wraps around the clothes line pole, while re-spooling, chases out all the twist?  Stay tuned for more money saving ideas but right now, I gotta git.....       some help   stupid cabin fever!!

I use 125 yard spool of braid and then double uni knot a leader of fluorocarbon in various lengths. Can usually go couple years with the same braid, and a 300 yard spool of fluro will last a long time, when only used for leader material.

There is no need to ever use mono again...
