What happened to this board?
10 years ago there was a post every 10 seconds! Now most threads are at least 24 hours old! Did a lot of people die or what?

These boards did seem to slow a bit after a wedding. I thought it was when Sabreena and East Side Scotty tied the knot? Let Jim Halupka, Oxy Bob and Young Guru back on, and things will liven up instantly. A lot of guys on here that remind me of Jim Halupka, without trying...

Some of passed on, many others evidently just lost interest. A few of the really interesting personalities got kicked off. I miss the good ol' days. It did get heated up on occasion. If memory serves me correctly, there were even some instances of challenges to meet somewhere and duke it out. Also, in years past, wasn't there a thread about a Christmas story? In my opinion it used to be a lot more interesting following along here. And by the way, hey Chartist, where you been hiding? You used to liven things up around here.

All true, as well as Face book coming into play. A lot of topics have been covered so much.... not much new stuff to argue or disagree with.

Yeah that's true. But, I started fishing the Salmon River in NY about 6 years ago and started haunting that board. It was never as popular as the Erie board however.

Me too, then the next time he was inviting me to go fishing at Erie. But I know what ya mean. Especially the PMs that are threatening or demeaning in some shape or form. Than again, I'm learning to consider the source, take any remarks with a grain of salt and, stand my ground when need be. Least not forget, eat a little crow now and then. Wait a minute.. All I ever see you do is come on here to sputter about how the DSR is so much better than Erie, and how PA is the only state in all of Steelhead Alley to be getting it wrong. And now your wondering why FishErie doesn't get posted on as much?

are yinz using the fruity smelling markers to color the macaroni? I wouldnt suggest trying to taste em, they have no taste and your lips turn rainbow colored.
