Hello, new to board, we are planning a trip to fish Erie in November, we need help trying to find a place to stay, we were up about 5/6 years ago and stayed at a place called Presque Isle
Motel, I can't find it on the internet, it was 1 floor and they were efficientices, does anyone have an info on this place, or a place like it. Thanks Rick

If you're just looking for a clean, comfortable place to sleep and shower with nothing fancy, the Steelhead Inn (used to be Flamingo Inn) is a good place.  highstickenfool on here is the owner and is a site sponsor.  Good guy and they have discount rates for fishermen.  http://www.steelheadinnerie.com/

If you want something a little nicer - indoor rooms, indoor pool and hot tub, $5 breakfast buffet - the Clarion Inn right by Presque Isle is a nice place to stay.  Rates are very reasonable for a nice hotel like that.

I've stayed at both at different times in the last couple of years.  Once a year I'll get a room at the Clarion Inn for my sons so they can have some fun in the pool and hot tub.  Couple times a year, we'll get a room at the Steelhead Inn to save a few bux and just have a nice, clean place to sleep.

Always stay at Sunset as well. Little bit of a drive, but its quiet and clean and very reasonable priced.

Last time I was up there I stayed at the El Patio. It was clean, comfortable, and reasonable rates. Don't know if it's still there.
