Need Beaver trapper Clarion CO.

I have a real overload of Beavers chewing up my trees and seem to be definitely out of hand. They have decimated the trees up and down the run and are making a third dam. Need them to go away. Between Porcupines and Beavers my timber has taken a hurting.

Wrap the base of trees with the two or three foot Wide chicken wire fence you can get at Home Depot , Agway, etc.

22 mag works well. Legally a conibear trap set on there under water trail is deadly. Game commission will remove them I believe, call them.

BTDT, I am talking about 10+ acres of trees. Chicken wire not an option.
Eman, Ya! To bad you are not closer. There should be couple blankets in there as they have been in there for few years.
Big, Yea .22 mag would work, however last time I told a warden I would eliminate a couple of those bark eaters that way  I was told no no no. That was when my neighbor had one move in at his fish hatchery and start plugging up his ponds. If any one pond would overflowing it could take out his yearly profit. I told the warden, had it been my hatchery Mr Beaver would have lead poisoning. Well Mr Warden didn't like that statement and told my neighbor that I must be an outlaw. Well I told neighbor the warden should put one year of paychecks in a little sailboat in small pond  and if Mr Beaver over night plugs and overflows it  he can tell his wife the bad news.

Copy the ten acres of trees, need heep big pile of chicken wire.    Sounds like a couple of 'yotes would come in handy right about now.  Then you could shoot the 'yotes and on a Sunday to boot.... 'cept I'm not sure about using rim fire ammo on 'yotes.
