10-3-16

Started below the root at about 930 this morning and fished for probably 2 solid hours seeing 4 fish total, probably would have stayed there longer but a group of 6 came in and set up below me so we headed back to the truck. Went down river to Pineville lot and walked down around the bend to some nice water but was occupied by a spey fisher so we watched him work the water and watched for fish moving, guy worked the whole stretch and left so we fished there for about an hour seeing 2 fish. Loaded up and went to elis cove lot and fished for an hour above the muskrat seeing 1 headed back to the lake. All the lots were full up top and never saw a fish on or on a rope, talked to many who had same luck. I hear tell of many fish down in town but I cant stomach that kind of fishing. Saw three boats floating the low water and they were dragging bottom pretty good, oh well try again next Monday.

About what I saw today John there were a few fish in ropes up by trout Brooke. I saw a few hookups at the ball park and town pool , but I'm with you did not take my pole out in town.
