Centerpin Help

Folks,
     I have finally procured a centerpin outfit.  I have spent the last few days amusing my neighbors by practicing out in the yard.  I would really like to observe someone who knows what they are doing out on the creek.  If anyone comes up to Erie when we get some open water, I would really like to watch someone in action.  I live 5 minutes from Walnut and can meet up anywhere.  If you don't want to go to your holes, we can go to places I know.

    Check this website out.  They have videos on all the centerpin casts and go over most of the terminal tackle, floats, line, shot and leaders..  I'd be willing to help you out and show you some stuff.  My fishing time is pretty much limited to weekends at the moment....

    Another great site is www.floatfishing.net     Joel check out J.C tackle on there that's the guy going to build my float stick. Its in the right hand Corner   On the main page it's blue i do believe.

    No didn't get the ross yet.  Its due out the 31st supposedly.  Yeah i'll check that page out, i've been on it once or twice never looked into of the tackle on there.

    Folks,
     
         First venture today with the pin....what a blast!  MX was kind enough to show me how to properly cast and it was on.  Now I am totally lost to the dark side!  Landed 4 fish and quick released several more.

    water is great,nice  flow,good color, and too many fish on today to count. Heinz, kept the rod bent till dark,even had a first time steelheader land two on my pin,his first fish,heading to same spot tommorow,till around 2,see ya if you can make it. Thanks for a great day.
