Ice Fishing 2015/2016

It's not looking like a cold start to winter in southwestern pa. Probably won't have any ice through December. ??
When are we going to see some ice?  Last year my first trip was around the first week of January.

    January 9th got on my go to lake last year. Fish other lakes a week earlier. This year it doesn't look good. If where not on by February,I'd say it's not going to happen.

    LOL ice fishing thread.  I feel for you guys... sort of like us non_icers posting in March about "anyone see open water" on local lakes.  The weather is crazy sauce this year, guys still fishing two months after they pulled most of the docks.  I think we had one cold day so far worth mentioning.  
     
    I fully expect to pay for this in Feb, but for now the only way you are ice fishing is to start driving North.  Stop when they are shouting "Eh buddy, ware ya headed?"

    Hey Zelie...........  Money maker for ya buddy.  Don't sell your pontoon, cut holes in the floor and take guys out fishing.  To make it more realistic, throw a couple of bags of ice cubes on the deck.....  Heck Yeah!

    No reason to be sorry BTDT. Fishing is a great sport no matter how you choose to pursue it. 
    I spent a lot of money on ice fishing gear this year and am eager to try it out. I probably jinxed myself, won't be any safe ice at all! lol
